Our Program Delivery team is looking for an Oracle Cloud HCM Functional and Technical Consultant to assist the continued delivery of work programmes centred on the Oracle Fusion platform. This is a vital role to give functional and technical guidance and delivery within the Employee Life Cycle (ELC) project with the aim to optimise Marie Curie’s Oracle Cloud solution.


The position will require the delivery of a wide range of solutions throughout the Oracle Cloud HCM suite, working on several work packets at once and completing functional and technical tasks on those work packets. Creative thinking, and making sure customer needs are recognised and solutions are appropriate for the situation will be the focus.





Main Responsibilities:


  • Design, development, testing and support of functional and technical tasks in Oracle Cloud.
  • Functional Tasks including application setup and review, creation and maintenance of documentation including config workbooks.
  • Preparation and delivery of Functional workshops, engaging with business Stakeholders in requirements gathering and business mapping.
  • Carrying out unit testing and advising the business for acceptance testing.
  • Create appropriate documentation such as requirements, detailed analysis, functional documentation, or user guides.
  • Supporting existing customers' functional solutions and resolving any issues/enhancements that may occur.
  • Adherence to documented development standards and implementation of "best practice" development methods.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support to provide solutions as functional and technical bugs are encountered.


Key Criteria:


  • Previous experience in Oracle HCM project implementations as a Functional and Technical Consultant.
  • Business process knowledge and functional experience within the following key areas: HCM, Absence Management, Journeys, Transaction Design Studio and Redwood
  • Ability to challenge requirements and identify further opportunity to create optimal solutions.
  • Excellent Oracle Functional skills with the ability to design and implement complex Oracle components.
  • Experience in configuring Oracle Roles and Security Profiles.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud (Fusion) approval workflow (BPM Configuration) and Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Fast Formulas
  • Extensively worked on BI Publisher reports and dashboards
  • Experience with HCM Extract and HCM Data Load (HDL).
  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to successfully manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Team player with demonstrable ownership of issues and ability to escalate when necessary.
  • Familiarity and understanding of rapid deployment methodologies.

Salary: £60,000-70,000 depending on the experience

Contract: 12 months fixed-term, full-time (35 hours)

Based: This role is predominantly home-based and can be based anywhere within the UK.
