With us, you will participate in various projects of different sizes and scales, from SAP implementation projects, through the development of extensions to S/4 HANA to deep-technical assessments and playing the role of an expert coaching other developers.

For the project for our key customer, a European manufacturing company that is an industry leader, we are looking for a mature technological SAP ABAP/BTP Development Lead.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with 10+ years in ABAP development, knowledgeable of Object-Oriented ABAP, enhancement frameworks, and performance tuning
• An expert in modern SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, CDS Views, and OData services
• Familiar with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and broader SAP architecture
• Passionate about SAP technology, actively participating in SAP community forums, blogs, or open-source repositories
• Contributing to SAP open-source projects (ABAPGit or similar)
• Experienced with DevOps for SAP, including CI/CD pipelines and version control using tools like ABAPGit
• Proactive, solution-oriented person passionate for driving innovation in SAP environments
• Hands-on with development in AWS and Azure
• An excellent communicator and leader with the ability to mentor junior developers
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ABAP customizations, enhancements, and extensions
• Develop innovative SAP solutions, employing modern tools like CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori/UI5
• Implement and advocate for ABAP version control using ABAPGit or similar systems
• Play a key role in SAP DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities with the team and broader SAP community
• Support migration and integration efforts for S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP platforms
• Contribute to and potentially lead open-source SAP initiatives, similar to ABAPGit
