Would you like to work in one of the world’s most prominent and entrepreneurial technology and engineering businesses whilst helping to drive client satisfaction?

EPAM is looking for a technically hands-on Senior Solution Architect in Dubai, UAE to help drive new and existing client projects in the region. One of your first roles will involve working on a project to build applications and infrastructure for the client using Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps services. This is a great opportunity to work with EPAM’s local Middle East and European Tech Leaders, Global Architects/Engineers, Delivery Teams, and those from our client accounts, supporting them navigate in a rapidly developing technology landscape.

The role requires a background in solution architecture, technology consulting, software development, client engagement and stakeholder management.

Our Solution Architects must have the ability to engage in opening discussions, identify technology needs, recommend the right technology choices and deliver cutting edge solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will drive critical client projects of varying maturity from establishing project requirements and goals, designing high level solutions up to, and including, solution "go-live” across different industry sectors depending on where the core client demand is coming from
Provide guidance through the complexity of solution architecture, find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility and long term sustainability
Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including delivery managers, product managers and development teams across different geographies
Align with EPAM’s leadership teams to identify new business opportunities by formulating and presenting the technology cases to drive overall business strategy
Create and present POCs, drive architecture proposals as well as provide pre-sales and RFP support within the framework of a technology consultancy

Requirements

Fluent English speaker up to business level is essential with Arabic as a nice to have
A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience
Proven experience acting as hands-on Solution Architect/Technology Consultant with a strong foundation in Software Engineering
Strong hands-on experience using .Net Framework and AI Architectures
Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology whilst leveraging native Cloud services (Azure)
Able to act as a SME to link technology with business value whilst guiding clients through the right technology choices suitable to their short and long term goals
Ideally some experience in pre-sales, RFPs and POCs
Experience and understanding of the Agile delivery
Able to manage and lead teams of experts in architecture, technology consulting and design engagements
A passion for always providing exceptional client care and service
Strong leadership skills to work comfortably with and advise colleagues and clients, up to and including, CTO level in EPAM and with clients
