Job Overview

We are a vibrant and innovative small business located in the Washington, DC area, specializing in providing exceptional services across multiple sectors. Since our inception in 2011, we have broadened our expertise from acquisition and supply chain management for the US Coast Guard to encompass infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. Our diverse clientele includes commercial entities as well as agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and various Federal Civilian Agencies. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Product Owner who will be instrumental in advancing our Salesforce Service Cloud functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Strategically define and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Government Experience: Utilize your expertise in government projects to guarantee adherence to the relevant regulations and standards.
• User Liaison: Act as the primary conduit between users and the Scrum team, effectively translating user requirements into actionable tasks.
• Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile practices within the Scrum framework, engaging in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of product features, user stories, and project developments.
• Security Compliance: Verify that all solutions meet security standards and assist in securing the necessary clearances.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the role of Product Owner with specific knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and government projects.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or an equivalent Agile certification.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Service Cloud and familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering projects within a government context.
• Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, are preferred.
• Familiarity with other project management methodologies and tools is advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is \(112,800 - \)140,000, subject to variation based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
