Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a resilient, scalable, and secure network infrastructure for our data centers. Your expertise in Arista and Juniper technologies will play a critical role in enhancing network reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure our data center networks to optimize reliability and performance.
• Spearhead the deployment of advanced network security measures, including VLANs, LACP, firewalls, and other protective solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with our IT administration team based in the UK, operating Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (ET).
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience as a Network Architect or in a senior networking capacity, with a focus on data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Arista and Juniper network solutions (preferred certifications).
• Practical knowledge of VLANs, LACP, firewalls, and network security configurations.
• Understanding of network security best practices, including spam and malware detection tools.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and proactive resolution of issues.
• Ability to design and maintain highly available, redundant network architectures.
• Experience with various networking protocols and technologies, such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPNs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a senior networking role focused on data center infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications, such as Arista Certified Engineer (ACE), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCP), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), are preferred.
• Experience in cloud-based or hybrid environments is advantageous.
