Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our esteemed Project Management Office in a remote capacity, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement for local candidates. This role requires availability to work during EST or CST business hours, Monday through Friday, for a standard 40-hour workweek without anticipated overtime. This assignment is expected to last six months, with opportunities for extension based on evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in facilitating the successful execution of IT projects. Your primary duties will include:

  • Supporting the Project Manager by comprehending project objectives, timelines, priorities, and resource allocation, as well as assisting with various administrative tasks such as meeting scheduling and presentation preparation.
  • Reporting to the IT Project Management Office while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the IT Project Manager.
  • Overseeing the financial tracking for project forecasting and expenditures, updating systems for project expenses, and monitoring dependencies across projects.
  • Assisting in the development of work plans and maintaining a document repository to ensure all key information remains current.
  • Ensuring that project outcomes align with Project and Portfolio Management standards in terms of quality and timeliness.
  • Leading quality inspections of essential project documentation and artifacts.
  • Coordinating testing sessions to determine requirements for assigned projects and managing defect resolution by collaborating with relevant teams.
