We are actively seeking a dedicated Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to join our esteemed organization, specializing in managing a variety of financial and accounting tasks for our private equity clientele. Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with numerous fund clients, ensuring the timely fulfillment of all client requirements.
  • Lead and mentor your team by coordinating timelines for deliverables and cultivating a collaborative atmosphere of excellence.
  • Apply your comprehensive understanding of alternative investment fund accounting, particularly in private equity, to navigate complex financial transactions and deliver sound accounting solutions.
  • Participate in discussions with both potential and existing clients to identify new business prospects and elevate our service offerings.
  • Develop and review career advancement plans for team members, conducting semiannual performance evaluations to nurture their growth and success.
  • Offer expert guidance on technical accounting and client service issues, upholding the highest standards in all outputs.
  • Examine and interpret fund governing documents, investment management agreements, and transaction documentation to ensure compliance with fund specifications.
  • Verify the accuracy of work papers, management fee computations, investor allocations, and capital account statements.
  • Oversee the year-end audit process in partnership with clients and auditors, ensuring a seamless and effective audit experience.
  • Contribute to the development of targeted continuing education programs for team members, promoting ongoing professional advancement.
  • Play a role in achieving corporate objectives and departmental initiatives, driving success across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in fund accounting, particularly in the realm of private equity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • CPA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting.
