Key Responsibilities

  • Review and edit completed work for grammatical, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
  • Efficiently gather and organize typing materials.
  • Create spreadsheets and presentations by integrating data from existing files.
  • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
  • Scan and print documents as required.
  • Uphold confidentiality in accordance with company security policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator.
  • Proficient typing skills; familiarity with touch typing systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with data recorders and optical scanners.
  • Strong command of word processing tools and spreadsheet applications.
  • Comfortable operating various office equipment.
  • Excellent grasp of the English language.
  • Strong attention to detail to identify grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; additional training or certification in computer skills is a plus.
