Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated contract development specialist with expertise in market access. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems, payer dynamics, and contract negotiation strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contracts that maximize market access opportunities for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Market Access Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to develop comprehensive market access strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Contract Design and Negotiation: Lead the design and negotiation of contracts with payers, including pricing agreements, rebate structures, and value-based arrangements.
  • Analysis: Utilize healthcare data and market insights to identify trends, evaluate contract performance, and optimize reimbursement strategies.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure contracts comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, including government pricing programs and transparency requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups, to advance market access initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, legal, and finance, to align contract strategies with overall business objectives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with medical and pharmacy claims.
  • Exposure to government pricing, operations, paying rebates and adjudication.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract development, negotiation, and management.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
