About this Position

Candidate is responsible for overseeing the life licensing education for field representatives. Duties include hiring, training, coaching and managing Licensing Coaches; scheduling and coordinating all classes; and working with the field force to ensure classes are conducted. Managing all aspect of directs and licensing coaches schedules, payroll, inventory, training, discipline, and all field force customer service questions are answered. Ongoing evaluation of both coaches and scheduling to meet business needs. All hours and days of week expectations.

This is a fully remote position.

The estimated salary range for this role is: $70K - $90K

Business and off business hours work requirement to meet business demands and needs. Minimum travel to states managing as needed.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Management of all aspects of a territory, pre-life licensing operation.

  • Actively recruit new coach candidates and review applications & resumes. Interview Candidates and complete hiring process to include HR requirements, PFSU Compliance Requirements and Systems Access Requirements. Review of necessary paperwork to ensure proper completion for filing. Follow up with candidates, HR and Compliance as needed to obtain necessary approvals.  Train and mentor coaches from start date and ongoing assessment of skills and work to continue development of training and classroom.
  • Develop schedules for each location after coordination with the RVPs and the coaches. Assign instructors and communicate the schedules to the coaches and the RVPs. Enter schedules into the registration system. Audit to ensure accuracy. Adjust coach assignments and/or class dates, daily, based on the changing availability of the site and/or coach and requests for additional classes.  
  • Manage, order new hire materials. Schedule the various elements of the training process. Track the pieces of the training process for internal audit. Review expectations and responsibilities with new hire for each stage of the process. Coordinate with seasoned coaches to ensure that each step was successfully completed.
  • Confirm schedules. Review and approval payroll. Review and approve Expense Reports. Communicate regarding additional trainings (annual trainings, ACM, Employee Handbooks, Sexual Harassment, etc.) and follow up with coaches to ensure timely completion. Evaluate coaches yearly to ensure compliance and determine any training needs. Prepare and submit reports to home office. If needed, determine and communicate corrective actions.  Coordinate with PFSU leadership and HR regarding any written warnings. Maintain copies of observations, warnings and compliance documents. Coordinate and conduct quarterly and Annual Training. Process terminations in Workday and ensure all coaching materials are returned. Work with coaches to determine and coordinate travel as needed. Set up and maintain coach information in system. Resolve any challenges from a field audit observation or RVP communication. Train coaches on technology required to conduct classes and any updates to the systems/apps/programs. Analyze data and prepare reports to home office. Follow up and reply regarding admin issues, missing rosters, attestations. 
  • Meet with field leaders to build relationships and resolve any areas of concerns. Respond to field inquiries regarding credit, certificates, registration, class availability and all customer service needs. Speak to various field groups regarding the licensing & pre-licensing process. Represent PFSU at convention, Leadership schools and DOI events. Coordinate with internal project and communication teams to develop messaging to drive up class attendance and license rates.
  • Manage all aspects of other assistant or registrar employees in your supervision from training, payroll, reviews support.
  • Periodic travel in your region for pre-licensing location site checks, coach evaluations, hiring, Field leader meetings, large events, department trainings and company needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years life insurance experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience desired
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills required.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with the PFS Field Force a plus
  • Life license required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
