Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished and strategic Director of Supply Chain who is driven to make a transformative impact within our organization. In this pivotal remote role, you will spearhead our supply chain strategy, enhance operational efficiencies, and cultivate robust partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute a holistic supply chain strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with external suppliers, ensuring they adhere to our rigorous quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery benchmarks.
  • Supervise third-party manufacturers, ensuring their operations align with our business goals and quality expectations.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to pinpoint inefficiencies, optimize processes, and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Conduct performance analyses, identify improvement opportunities, and work closely with teams to resolve issues.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution for seamless execution.
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, minimize expenses, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on manufacturing capabilities, constraints, and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with senior leadership regarding manufacturing performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the timely and defect-free delivery of supply chain components.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing external manufacturers and large-scale supply chain operations.
  • Profound knowledge of industry-specific supply chain best practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various supply chain management software tools.
