Job Overview

Join our esteemed educational community as a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT), where your expertise will significantly contribute to the success of students in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will work remotely, engaging with a passionate team of educators and support staff to deliver tailored occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized occupational therapy services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, compile relevant data, and prepare insightful reports to evaluate student progress and therapy effectiveness.
  • Collaborate proactively with teachers, families, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records, document progress accurately, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to customized student planning efforts.

  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and preparing detailed reports.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active or pending Occupational Therapist license in California.
  • Prior experience with school-aged children is preferred but not mandatory.
