Remote Nurse Practitioner | Virtual Patient Care

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Virtual Patient Care to join our innovative healthcare team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to create your own schedule, with an expected commitment of 10 hours per week, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations through video consultations for patients aged 18 and older.
• Assess health concerns holistically, analyze lab results, and when suitable, prescribe weight loss medications, particularly GLP-1 agonists.
• Deliver care to a varied patient demographic, emphasizing inclusivity and adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal and asynchronous chat.
• Facilitate prescription refills and assist patients in managing chronic health conditions.
  
  

Required Skills

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in at least four of the following states: TX, CA, WA, AZ, UT, or CO, with residency in the licensed state.
• Board Certification (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by ANCC or AANP.
• A minimum of five years of primary care experience is essential.
• At least two years of independent practice experience as an NP is preferred.
• Proficient in prescribing compound medications.
• A background in Internal or Family Medicine is advantageous.
• Familiarity with managing complex chronic conditions is a plus.
• Experience in telemedicine or virtual healthcare delivery is preferred.
