Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.

One of the largest and exciting projects in retail transformation, we are looking for someone who has extensive SAP S/4HANNA - Merchandise project implementation experience.

The Senior Project Manager - Merchandise will manage the delivery of successful project outcomes, through the delivery of multiple streams of project activities and other value adding activities to ensure that full business benefits realisation is obtained.

The Senior Project Manager with extensive SAP S/4HANA Retail for Merchandise Management experience will manage the successful delivery of the end-to-end solution across the entire retail value chain.  You will ideally have experience working within Retail or FMCG and be proficient in managing large programs of work with (ideally) organisations who have gone through a demerger or large ERP transformation.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Ensuring the successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA Retail Merchandise Management solution
• Operating within the requirements specified by the organisation’s operating mode, including the Delivery Framework and the Governance Framework
• End to end coordinated management of all project streams and stage gates in accordance with the requirements of the organisation
• Agreeing & managing to the Sponsor & Steering Committees realistic expectations on project Scope, Time, Cost & Quality, and delivering against these key measures.
• Providing the Sponsor & Steering Committees with on-going confidence on project delivery certainty & peoples capacity/ability to apply the new capability
• Ensuring all project component delivery/operational/regulatory/reputation risk impacts are maintained within acceptable and agreed parameters 
• Ensuring Architectural alignment with the organisation’s Business & Technology requirements
• Securing project resources with the necessary experience aligned to the complexity of the task or if the appropriate resources are not available instituting a resource risk minimisation plan
• Securing individuals with the demonstrated experience to undertake the complexity of the task to be performed
• Establishing clear delegated authority, accountabilities & performance management structures for the project

Now let’s talk about you

• Extensive SAP S/4HANA - Retail Merchandise Management knowledge
• 15+ years industry experience with proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Project Manager as part of a large digital transformation or demerger.
• Relevant undergraduate qualifications. 
• Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Retail and/or FMCG experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is desirable.
• Experience presenting and communicating at Senior Leadership level
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Proficient in the use of applications including but not limited to presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
