Our Mission

At Twine, our mission is to empower creators, whether they're businesses or individual freelancers, to grow and thrive. We connect companies with top creative talent, enabling collaboration, innovation, and success on a global scale.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled web designer to create a responsive two-page website for a startup that enhances cruise passengers' port experiences. The project will include the design of a Home Page and a Port Guide Page, both optimized for desktop and mobile platforms. The Home Page will prioritize a robust search feature, facilitating easy access to a vast collection of port guides, while employing a user-focused card layout to showcase trending ports and experiences. The Port Guide Page will be a content-rich template, featuring key information, an accordion for detailed insights, and integrated maps. We expect an innovative design that provides smooth usability while distinguishing the platform from standard travel blogs. Experience in typography for both headings and body content will be highly valued.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in web design, specifically for content-heavy, responsive websites
  • Expertise in Figma (or similar tools) to deliver fully actionable files
  • Experience designing intuitive search interfaces and card-based layouts (Tripadvisor-like inspiration preferred)
  • Strong understanding of user experience design, especially in travel or experience-based websites
  • Ability to create designs that balance large volumes of content with usability
  • Experience integrating maps (Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.)
  • Familiarity with carousel layouts and creative ideas for showcasing tours and experiences
  • Typography design skills (headings and body text)
  • Availability to deliver desktop and mobile versions of both pages
  • Strong communication skills and an openness to feedback
