We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. Candidates must possess experience with FERC Section 7© regulations and Third-party EIS documentation to be considered for this role. This position focuses on delivering critical environmental strategies and services for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil.

Job Overview

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will lead various projects, guiding them from site routing through to construction compliance. Your expertise in environmental licensing and permitting will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee several projects covering routing/siting and compliance during construction.
  • Lead resource teams on conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
  • Facilitate coordination with federal, state, and local governmental agencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings to ensure transparent communication.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
  • Participate in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold project integrity.

Required Skills

  • Proven strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental standards is essential.
