What we're looking for

Our client, a leading US-based Digital Marketing Agency seeking a highly skilled Video Editor whose primary responsibility is to create engaging, cinematic, story-driven commercials, social content, and short-form video content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for elevating the quality of content, ensuring it looks high-end and professional. While your primary focus will be editing, you should have a basic working knowledge of color correction, audio correction, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Edit and craft compelling, story-driven commercials and social content.
• Work with various footage formats, including RED, Arri, Sony, and adapt to other formats as needed.
• Utilize Davinci Resolve for editing, basic color grading, and audio correction.
• Elevate the visual quality of each project to a high-end, professional standard.
• Collaborate closely with the Post-Production Supervisor and Creative Director to meet creative and technical goals.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues related to footage, sound, or final delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive experience editing in Davinci Resolve
• Experience with various footage types and color spaces, primarily RED camera workflows.
• Ability to edit across various footage formats while maintaining a consistent, high-end visual style.
• Strong storytelling skills with an emphasis on creating engaging cinematic content.
• Experience editing and delivering multiple aspect ratios for tv and social
• Basic understanding of color grading and working with LUTs.
• Basic understanding of audio correction.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics.
• Access to high-speed internet capable of downloading multiple terabytes of footage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
