Position: Product Owner / Business Analyst

In the role of Product Owner / Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in steering analysis, development, and testing initiatives across agile teams. You will be the pivotal decision-maker, ensuring efficient execution of the product backlog, prioritization of tasks, and readiness of product features for market launch. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager to formulate strategies aimed at enhancing client success, boosting revenue retention, and mitigating risks. This role also necessitates fostering strong stakeholder relationships and conducting research to facilitate informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product and engage with stakeholders to articulate clear solution requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to convert high-level objectives into actionable initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external teams to pinpoint product enhancements, analyze user needs, and document essential requirements.
  • Assist in project planning with the Scrum Master to ensure scope alignment and timely delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape long-range product deliverables and project roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment of the product backlog and facilitate requirement refinements through team grooming sessions.
  • Represent Product Management within project teams, providing guidance and decision-making support to scrum teams.
  • Mentor the agile team and support Business Analysts to ensure a clear understanding of project deliverables.
  • Utilize graphical tools such as diagrams and story maps to complement written requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Ownership.
  • Experience in the Financial or Human Resources sectors is advantageous.
  • Preferred expertise in basic data analysis, public speaking, agile methodologies, and the software delivery life cycle (SDLC).
