Job Purpose:

To provide overall management and leadership of the Finished Goods laboratory. Plan and organize the Semi-Finished/Finished products analysis  on priority to meet business requirements

Job Related Experience:

  • Organize, manage and ensure timely analysis of Semi-Finished/Finished products as per production schedule.

  • Timely completion of Validation related analysis which includes process performance qualification, cleaning validation, and associated documentation.

  • Ensure all the pre-requisites of FG analysis are available prior to assign analytical tasks( Qualified/Calibrated equipment, reference standards, consumables, procedures, effective documentation etc)

  • Perform RCA for OOS/OOT & atypical results and escalate as per procedure. Oversee the process of lab investigations, ensuring to continually build team capability to support accurate and timely investigations

  • Timely completion of OJT of the new associates and assigning of work accordingly

  • Manage workload justification and prepare weekly schedule as per eLM.

  • Track daily release and track Lab cycle time on routine basis and update data in HAPS.

  • Ensures documents within area of control are current and always audit ready. Ensure ALCOA+ principles can be met throughout all documentation.

  • Acts as a champion for change, leading implementation and improvements of new initiative from CI projects

  • Management of Capex and Opex required for FG lab and prepare URS for purchasing of new equipment keeping  21CFR compliance in consideration.

  • Capable of rapid and proactive decision making, capable of balancing business and quality risk – particularly out of hours

  • Shows a proactive approach combined with a strong knowledge and application of people management tools and practices

  • Ensure Lab safety program, Zero incident in lab through strong work place risk assessment and timely completion of action

  • Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.

  • Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.

  • Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements
