Revenue Analyst - Reporting

Position Summary/Objective

You will play a crucial role in our Revenue Department, focusing on revenue analysis and revenue accounting and reporting. Your responsibilities include overseeing revenue reporting and recognition, billing procedures, managing revenue processes, producing cash flow projections, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform variance analysis and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Revenue Reporting: Responsible for preparing timely and accurate monthly revenue reporting material while driving insights into collections and revenue recognition analysis
• Cash Flow Management: Responsible for preparing timely and accurate 13-week cash flow projections and cash flow reporting material while driving insights into liquidity management 
• Revenue Recognition and Billing: Audit revenue recognition and billing process, working with key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and proper revenue and billing controls and processes
• Cash Collection and Accounts Receivable Management: Drive collections efforts and conduct aging analysis.
• Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support audits.
• End of Month Closing: Support during end-of-month closing with journal entries and data analysis.
• Additional Responsibilities: Address ad-hoc requests, undertake special projects, and actively contribute to team initiatives.
• Position requires the employee to utilize company equipment and reporting tools for performing job duties effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial analysis and accounting.
