What We Do
This position is accountable for performing and monitoring a variety of default loan servicing events within timelines and workflow processes on files. And, further responsible for developing process improvement in accordance with established work rules, goals & objectives to improve timeline and attorney performance. You are expected to establish/maintain procedures, a culture of team collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure claims are filed accurately and in compliance with all state, federal laws, and within Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines
  • Complete QC reviews for GNMA Claims (FHA, USDA, VA) within the departmental SLAs
  • Research and cure suspended FHA Claims; monitor appeals and curtailments on GNMA claims
  • Monitor title package processes ensuring the title packages are submitted timely to the insurer
  • Monitor loans within the claims queue to ensure all required milestone(s) are met
  • Ensure claim filing/activities are completed, by interacting and instructing various parties such as attorneys, investors, insurers, and any other party involved with the claim
  • Document and maintain all systems necessary for proper claim follow-up
  • Monitor and identify trends or risks associated with the portfolio
  • Provide recommendations to management on process improvement opportunities within the department and outside where applicable, to minimize risk exposure
  • Follow departmental and business policies with strict adherence
  • Prioritize allocated work to ensure timely and accurate resolution to both external and internal partners
  • Stay current with pending regulatory and state law changes that could impact Claim processes
  • Diligently follow up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external partners
  • Manages exception reporting used as key controls for minimizing risk
  • Assist wherever needed, when necessary

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years GNMA Claim Filing
  • 2+ years of GNMA of Quality Control Experience
  • Self-starter, with the ability to problem solve questions regarding FHA Claims

Salary Range: $20.72 - $34.53 hourly

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate’s education, training, experience, and geographic location.
