ICF’s seeks a Web Developer to help us develop mission-critical applications for a large Federal agency and long-time client. What you will be doing:
- Use your skills with PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery to design, develop, maintain and support sophisticated web applications using an Agile methodology.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings.
- Analyze, test, and resolve issues with application software.
- Adapt existing software to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but candidates with an additional 4 years of experience may work in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer using PHP to produce logically written, maintainable and testable code is required.
- 3+ years of experience working with MySQL or an SQL-based RDBMS. Additionally, understand database terminology, and be able to write complex queries joining multiple tables.
- 3+ years of experience creating user interfaces for web-based applications with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
- 1+ year of experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- 1 year's proficiency in using PHP frameworks and libraries.
- 1 years’ experience with unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
- 1 year’s versioning system experience i.e., SVN or GIT.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
- Must live and do all work on this project in the United States.
- Must have lived and worked in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required due to federal contract requirement.
Professional skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- AJAX experience in conjunction with jQuery.
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with React.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working on Agile development teams.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$84,533.00 - $143,706.00
