ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Director of Sales will drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing relationships with B2B customers, presenting tailored lending solutions, and meeting sales targets. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align go-to-market strategies, create impactful sales collateral, and optimize customer engagement. We’re looking for someone who has a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with strong collaboration and communication skills and has a track record of driving results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acquire and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their challenges and present our solutions to help satisfy customer needs
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing sales activities and pipelines
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers and prospects, demonstrating how our lending solutions can address their specific challenges
  • Identify and target potential customers, developing a pipeline of leads through networking, referral, and prospecting in Western territory
  • Collaborate on and execute a go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with all cross-functional, particularly product, sales, and finance
  • Deliver a value proposition that is unique, dependable, and important to our customers so that we can position our B2B brand with consistency and simplicity
  • Define the B2B buying journey, touch-points, and collateral that can impact sales cycle and sales effectiveness
  • Collaborate on product collateral such as thought leadership papers, event plans, Key-Note messaging, quarterly reviews, and annual customer engagement events
  • Collaborate with product leadership in developing and optimizing product features and pricing
  • Support the planning process for the launch of new products and releases and be a key stakeholder in the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Manage the building, scaling, and optimization of Credit Union programs for specific KPIs

  • ABOUT YOU
  • 7+ years of sales in a B2B FinTech or the financial services industry
  • Experience in early stage and rapid scale startups 
  • A strong strategic and analytical thinker with experience selling to C-Suite (CEO, CFO, CLO) employees of Financial Institutions (banks and credit unions)
  • Individualizes marketing strategy through understanding a multitude of buyer personas
  • Conceptualizes large impact projects and develops milestone-driven plans for execution
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Vets and manages external vendors & agency partners 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and influences decision making across all levels of the organization
  • Develops and implements plans while continuously monitoring results and implementing continuous improvement methodologies
