The Role

As the Training Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of trainers to ensure the effective delivery of training programs across various departments. You will play a critical role in developing training strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring the team meets the training goals aligned with the organization’s vision. Your leadership will help foster a learning culture and ensure that every Trainer has the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

We seek a passionate, support-focused, and adaptable Training Team Lead to assist with our growing team. The ideal candidate will ensure that the training goals of the partner are supported and achieved. You will support onboarding and enhance the competencies of our associates by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employees' workplace performance in alliance with the Partner’s core values. When requested, you will also train the Partner’s new hire training classes and refresher training classes. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and managing all phases of training interventions.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of trainers to deliver high-quality training programs.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve training processes and materials, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Manage training schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of sessions for partners and staff in a virtual environment.
  • Assist in developing individual training plans and career development pathways for team members.
  • Support new employee onboarding and development to ensure smooth integration into the company.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to training sessions, systems, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and track team performance metrics.
  • Facilitate feedback sessions and performance reviews with your team to drive improvement and growth.
  • Assist in creating interactive and engaging instructor-led and online training courses.
  • Revise, update, and maintain training courses.
  • Adhere to brand, image, and style guidelines in training asset development.
  • Leverage best practices in Knowledge-Centered Service to develop and maintain a robust and efficient knowledge base for staff and partner consumption.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products.
  • Understand and demonstrate proficiency with various teams’ processes and procedures for successful associate training.
  • Conduct quality evaluations on specified Partner Success teams, providing feedback to staff and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and the entire organization.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven experience in a training or coaching role, with at least one year of experience in a leadership position.
  • 1 + years of experience in a Customer Experience role
  • 1+ years of experience in delivering training
  • Strong knowledge of training and instructional design principles.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines efficiently and flexibly.
  • Experience in team leadership, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • Passion for professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Fundamental understanding and ability to apply adult learning principles
  • Excellent listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and promptly
  • Exceptional skills in partnering with partners and staff in developing and maintaining long-term supportive relationships
  • Willingness to accept coaching to remove barriers to effective working relationships
  • Understanding of knowledge center support methodologies to build a knowledge base that is effective for staff and partner consumption
