Job description

*This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our NYC Office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

To support our exciting business growth, we are actively recruiting a Senior Marketing Analyst to join the Lonely Planet team. Lonely Planet’s goal is to help more people from more backgrounds experience the joy of exploration and this role will help deliver on that goal. In this role, the Sr Analyst will have a deep understanding and experience across paid channels with experience developing campaign strategies from inception to execution. 

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily execution of paid search, paid social, and digital display campaigns.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance in paid platforms, as well as internal reporting and visualization tools
    • Share analytical insights and play an integral role in developing strategies to improve campaign performance. 
  • Analyze data to make recommendations to improve existing campaigns, forecast and develop new strategies that will inform future decisions
  • Launch and monitor A/B tests, analyze engagement & profitability metrics, report, and roll out tactics to achieve set business goals. 
  • Communicate timelines, goals, and performance to diverse audiences, including engineers, content writers, digital designers, fellow analysts, and senior leaders
  • Develop and deliver management reporting materials, reports and presentations

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience (paid search, display, paid social)
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytically oriented discipline (e.g., business, economics, statistics, math, finance)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, SQL 
  • Experience with Shopify, NetSuite, DataGrip, and other relevant third-party tools preferred 
  • Proven track record of demonstrable business growth
  • Intellectual curiosity in an ever-changing digital landscape to stay abreast of industry trends

Compensation: 

  • New York Compensation Range: $110,000-$160,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
