Job description

The Company

Outreach is the only workflow-first Sales Execution Platform that Sales and Rev Ops leaders use to design, measure, and improve seller workflows. Built on the world’s largest foundation of customer interactions and go-to-market team data, Outreach gives teams the tools they need to design, execute, and continuously improve a revenue strategy that is disciplined, achievable, and optimized for every stage of the customer journey. The world’s most effective revenue organizations, including Cisco, Okta, SAP, Siemens, and Verizon, use Outreach to power workflows, put customers at the center of their business, and win in the market.

The Team

The data & analytics team builds and supports capabilities across Outreach’s product suite, from sales engagement to conversational intelligence and forecasting. The team drives the analytics framework capabilities that other pillars of the company adopt and use for their own functional analytics, while also delivering analytic content for application teams as well. In a given week, the focus of the team can range from a variety of initiatives including: delivering new content, tables and metrics, new functions (eg. pivots, drill-ins), governing a consistent experience, extending analytic content to be more customizable, innovating with AI & ML for novel analytic experiences, and more.

The Role

As a Principal Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution for a designated product area of our data and analytics capabilities, which are central to how our customers use the product. As a revenue intelligence application, analytics are a critical piece of customer value realization. You will be driving extremely visible features with direct customer impact. This is a very cross-functional role, which will work across not just a variety of other functions in analytics, but also with other applications teams in the business.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
  • Deeply understanding customer needs for reporting and analytics across the platform, and prioritizing them accordingly
  • Contributing to Outreach’s product leadership in sales execution & revenue intelligence, especially the role which reporting and analytics plays in maximizing customer outcomes
  • Leading product discovery and roadmap sessions with key prospects and customers
  • Setting the long-term vision for key product initiatives, defining problem statements, and specifying key customer requirements
  • Collaborating with engineering, design, business development and analytics teams to deliver value to the sales and operations teams who use Outreach to grow their business
  • Partnering with product marketing to develop enablement and positioning collateral to share the product team’s work with the world
  • Evaluating product success through product usage analysis and customer feedback

  • Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Enterprise customer facing experience including research, feedback sessions, and fielding escalations
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
