Are you ready to join a dynamic, cross-cultural team at an exciting turning point in our company’s journey? Now part of the global Hotmart Company portfolio, whose platforms have helped creators earn more than $10 billion, Teachable continues to take the creator economy by storm as a true industry leader. Together, Teachable and Hotmart are delivering market-leading products that prioritize creator control and flexibility, alongside meaningful partnership and support from our team. If you have big ideas, relish the chance to challenge convention, and deeply believe in the power of creators to shape the future, we want you on our team!

About your Team

You’ll be part of Teachable’s Creator Experiences team within Marketing’s Brand & Content function. You’ll work closely with our Creator Partnerships & Biz Dev lead, plus our Brand & Creator Experiences Strategist, as well as our content and design teams.

You’ll report directly to our Brand & Content lead.

This position is hybrid to NYC—to help scope event spaces, attend NYC-based events, plan and coordinate with local vendors and partners, and of course, to hang out with other local NYC team members.

What is the role?

We’re looking for an organized, enthusiastic Brand & Events Coordinator to bring our brand to life as we execute our strategic events strategy and make Teachable a household name within the creator economy. You will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and executing events—in-person and some virtual—that elevate our brand, nurture our partnerships, and engage prospective and existing Teachable creators.

Last year, we hosted a party and panel at SXSW, brought together hundreds of creators at VidCon, and became a regular at monthly Creator Economy NYC meetups. And that’s just scratching the surface. In 2025, we’re dreaming bigger.

We’re looking for a creative and strategic mind, someone who loves creators, can be boots on the ground to scope out venues, can chat and pitch sponsorship packages, stay on top of swag vendors, and pitch new and exciting ways for our brand to show up IRL. So, if you love taking ideas from concept to reality, and project managing all the nitty gritty details along the way, we’d love to chat.

In this role, you'll:
  • Oversee the execution of Teachable’s events strategy, including sponsorships at industry conferences, bespoke parties and creator meetups, Teachable-owned events, and more
  • Act as the primary point of contact for industry conference organizers, negotiating sponsorship packages and managing all event logistics
  • Manage the production process with vendor partners and collaborate with the creative team to develop unique swag, signage, and brand activations, ensuring timely delivery of all materials
  • Conduct nationwide venue research for bespoke events, and handle NYC venue scouting, negotiating contracts to secure top-value
  • Own the procurement process, managing invoicing and payments between Teachable and event vendors/partners
  • Maintain open communication with key event partners, co-creating innovative ideas to enhance Teachable’s brand presence
  • Ensure flawless event execution from planning through wrap-up, adhering to budget and timeline constraints while maintaining high standards
  • Work closely with email marketing and social media teams to strategically promote events and engage the broader Teachable community
  • Be an active voice and creative contributor to our Brand & Content team, surfacing new and exciting ideas as they pertain to our brand and the way we show up in the world
  • Adapt to various marketing and brand needs as they arise, from copywriting to managing virtual event logistics

What You'll Bring:
  • 1-3 years of experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events of various scales
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and brand strategy, with the ability to align event goals with brand objectives
  • A familiarity with the creative (specifically design and printing production) to effectively facilitate production of deliverables with third-party vendors
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with precision and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, JIRA) with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible mindset and willingness to tackle tasks of any size
Nice to Have:
  • Experience planning events for tech or digital companies focused on brand awareness or partnerships
  • Background in organizing events specifically for the creator economy, with a solid understanding of the unique needs and dynamics of this space

Additional Details:

  • This role is open to applicants within commuting distance of our Manhattan office.
