Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join our team and drive sales for CloudLabs, a product by Spektra. CloudLabs is a hands-on lab platform used by ISVs & EDU for provisioning hands-on labs at scale using Public Cloud Platforms

The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud computing sales, a deep understanding of technology sales, and the ability to build and execute sales strategies to drive growth for the product. The role requires working closely with presales and tech teams to develop quality proposals and conducting product demos for potential clients. The Technical Sales Executive will also be responsible for tracking overall sales efforts and partnering with public cloud providers such as Microsoft, AWS, and GCP.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth for CloudLabs.
  • Identify potential clients and establish relationships to generate new business.
  • Work closely with presales and tech teams to develop quality proposals that meet client needs.
  • Conduct product demos for potential clients and educate them about CloudLabs' features and benefits.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of cloud computing sales and technology sales to effectively position CloudLabs in the market.
  • Track overall sales efforts and report on key metrics to drive success.
  • Partner with OEMs such as Microsoft, AWS, and GCP to generate leads and drive business growth.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to represent CloudLabs and generate new business.

Requirements
Desired Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud computing sales and/or technology sales.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their associated services, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
