Summary of Job Duties:
This position provides comprehensive support to Cancer Service Line Faculty and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) throughout their onboarding and employment. This role includes data collection, process management, and reporting, while assisting Cancer SL administration with special projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree PLUS four (4) years of project/program management experience, OR Associate's degree plus 6 years of experience, OR high school diploma plus 8 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic Cadence knowledge will be essential. Must learn other programs as necessary, i.e., Box,  Visio, and QGenda.

  • Experience working in a high volume medical clinic is highly desirable.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities, are essential.

  • Candidates should have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus.

  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple programs simultaneously is crucial, as is adapting to changes seamlessly. A high level of accuracy is required, along with strong editing skills for spelling and grammar.

  • Good listening and comprehension skills are also important.

  • The ability to multitask and excellent time management skills are necessary, along with the capacity to establish and maintain collaborative relationships.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage leave requests for Faculty and APPs through QGenda, ensuring appropriate staffing levels across clinics, and coordinating with APP coordinators for review and approval.

  • Oversee the entry and management of template block requests in Epic, including auditing Workday requests for APPs to ensure alignment with QGenda submissions.

  • Track and report on absences for APPs, including monitoring abscale points.

  • Provide administrative oversight and reporting of the QGenda system for the Cancer SL, including onboarding new Faculty and APPs to ensure requests are routed to the appropriate approvers.

  • Manage Faculty and APP schedules to align with current practices and required staffing levels per clinic.

  • Assist in the onboarding and credentialing process for APPs by gathering necessary information for Justification for Recruitment (JFRs) and required licensure documents.

  • Collaborate with APP coordinators and Cancer Service Line Nursing leadership to ensure accurate entry and initiation of schedule templates for new providers.

  • Support the completion of the annual OPPE reporting process for Faculty and APPs, including data gathering, entry, and maintenance of signed documents.

  • Provides backup support for coverage of the 1st floor Welcome Desk.

  • Other duties may be assigned to this position
