Position Overview: The Admissions Team Lead is responsible for helping to support the day-to-day functions and needs of the Admissions Team. This role is responsible for assuring a high level of customer service by making sure response timelines are met for all inquiries between our clients and the Admissions Team, onboarding and training of new team members, and partnership with Admissions Manager. This role will aid in tracking trends, completing chart audits and helping with other concerns reported by clients and serve as an enhanced Admissions Specialist.

How Admission Specialists Empower Recovery

The Admissions Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective and returning clients seeking treatment with Accanto Health as well as individuals seeking treatment information for loved ones and outside referral sources.

As the Admission Specialist, you will demonstrate compassion and dedication towards finding appropriate solutions for our prospective and returning clients. With an emphasis on quality and urgency, your goal is in communicating seamlessly with clients, families, providers to ensure timely access to care while using a relational selling approach. The position is responsible for achieving the departmental and individual KPIs while delivering an excellent experience. 

The Admissions Specialist effectively manages objections, removes barriers, and motivates prospective clients to pursue the admissions process. The Specialist brings curiosity, determination, and drive to help each client move forward. The Admissions Specialist accurately documents their work and efficiently navigates the administrative details of the assessment scheduling experience so clients can focus efforts on recovery.

You will serve clients daily in a multitude of ways:

  • Engage with new potential clients in a relational and compassionate manner while also performing in an achievement-oriented and fast-paced sales organization.
  • Committed to helping people gain access to care and achieving their targeted KPIs. 
  • Sustain conversion rate performance at or above goal by effectively managing multiple points of entry for marketing qualified leads. 
  • Sustain conversion rate performance at or above goal by tailoring messaging to various personas and the prospect stage in which they enter the process.
  • Achieve targeted registration volume at or above goal by utilizing motivational techniques that move new clients to take the next step in the process. 
  • Overcome objections and move potential clients forward by utilizing consultative selling approach with a solution-oriented posture. 
  • Effectively balance high growth expectations with compassionate interactions by consistently interacting with warmth and compassion. 
  • Maintain a high commitment to professionalism when connecting with prospective clients, referring providers and concerned loved ones via live calls and other methods of inquiry (i.e. voicemail, email, fax).
  • Accurately share what to expect regarding the admissions process at Accanto Health and position us as an expert in the eating disorder field and solution to the current eating concerns.
  • Effectively respond to a broad spectrum of questions from prospective clients, family members and referral sources, including treatment approach and options.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Key Referring Providers and demonstrate urgency when supporting these referrals.
  • Share community resources for callers who are unable to access care at Accanto.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related mental health field or equivalent experience required 
  • Experience in customer facing sales environment required
  • 1-3 years in healthcare sales environment desired 
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare call center experience desired
