As a Senior Analyst for Marketing Analytics, you will become an integral part of our centralized data analytics community, fostering collaboration, learning opportunities, and thought partnership among fellow analysts and data scientists. You will be working closely with stakeholders in Performance Marketing, particularly paid performance digital channels. You will identify key metrics and attributes that drive profitability and growth, positioning our stakeholders as a world-class data-driven team.
 
Responsibility:
 
  • Act as the data and analytics expert and process owner within a cross-functional team. 
  • Address measurement and data integration inquiries by defining the analytics approach, retrieving and manipulating necessary data, and delivering actionable insights. 
  • Develop domain expertise in relevant data sets and strategically prioritize critical data points. 
  • Design measurement frameworks and KPIs for business performance initiatives, including the creation and automation of reports using Power BI or similar tools. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Intelligence developers to automate reporting, experiment, and optimize workflows. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics. 
  • Assumes the role of an internal consultant on various paid performance marketing programs' performance and ROI. Identify trends and impacts from competitive activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels to ensure successful data-driven initiatives. Foster data literacy and create a positive learning environment around analytics, data science, and data visualization, actively mentoring junior analysts and providing guidance and thought leadership.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Working knowledge of essential analytics principles, including geo-based lift study, digital/web/app analytics, cohort analysis, and attribution models (multi-touch, last touch, agile mixed model). 
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel; Strong SQL skills (aggregate functions, joins, etc.); Experience working with enterprise data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, with the ability to handle complex datasets. 
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, data integration, and data governance best practices. Detail-oriented with the capacity to independently validate and cross-reference data and analyses. 
  • Curiosity about fact-driving business trends, coupled with an understanding of standard eCommerce and performance marketing metrics. 
  • Self-starter mindset, taking ownership of your domain and establishing efficient processes for handling requests. Demonstrated capacity to learn on the fly.
  • Effective communicator who sets clear expectations, anticipates questions, and proactively addresses concerns. 
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in quantitative field and 3+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed and may not be applicable to other locations.
 
California : [$122,550 - 174,000]
Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$122,550 159,250]
Colorado and Washington: [$122,550 - 147,500]
Nevada: [$115,250 - 159,250]

This opportunity can be remote, but candidates must reside in a state in which Shutterfly is registered to do business. This includes all US states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
