Summary:

The client is looking for a Golang developer who can handle backend systems at scale and is comfortable with on-call duties in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building scalable, resilient systems using Golang and will be prepared to troubleshoot and manage incidents in production as part of an on-call rotation. Experience with enterprise-level operations, system reliability, and performance optimization is critical.

1. Golang Developer at Scale:

• The engineer needs to have extensive experience with Golang in a production environment, particularly in developing and maintaining highly scalable systems. This could involve handling large volumes of traffic, data, or services, and ensuring that the system performs efficiently even under heavy load.
• Working at scale also implies a deep understanding of performance optimization, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.

2. On-call Responsibilities:

• The role includes being part of an on-call rotation, meaning the engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they arise in production.
• This requires a strong understanding of incident management, root cause analysis, and working with monitoring and alerting tools.
• The engineer must be comfortable with high-pressure situations and quickly addressing problems to minimize downtime and impact on the business.

3. Enterprise Environment:

• The engineer should have experience working in an enterprise-level environment, which often involves more complex systems, higher security, compliance standards, and collaborative efforts across various teams.
