As a Nesting Coach, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support and guidance to newly hired Insurance Agents and Customer Service Representatives during their initial stages of onboarding. This position serves as a bridge between the training team and insurance leadership, ensuring that agents are adequately prepared to transition from training to productive in their roles. You will create a controlled environment for agents to handle calls, web leads, and/or walk-ins while also offering coaching, feedback, and guidance to enhance their performance and success.

What you will do:

  • Establish and maintain a controlled environment for newly hired team members to confidently manage sales and service interactions. Provide additional oversight and support during the nesting period to ensure the new hires feel confident and supported.
  • Listen to calls and observe in-Branch interactions (when possible) with the purpose of providing constructive feedback and learning opportunities. Identify areas for improvement and provide tailored coaching to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to address individual needs and challenges. Develop personalized development plans to help agents reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the training team to provide feedback on training materials and proficiency following training. Identify gaps in training and provide recommendations to close the gaps.
  • Assess new hires readiness to transition from the nesting phase to active selling and/or service roles. Provide supervisors with insights into individual strengths, areas for improvement, and readiness for independent work.
  • Track and report on performance during the nesting period. Provide regular updates to insurance leadership on progress and readiness for transition.
Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred or 6-8 Years of Additional Relevant Experience preferred

Experience

5+ years Experience in Insurance industry/Sales required 1-2 years Direct or indirect training and/or mentoring experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Property and Casuality license Required
