About The Position:

The Virtual Access Core Facilitators are dynamic and motivated undergraduate students who virtually support fellow high school students in their journeys to college. The Let’s Get Ready staff prepares college readiness content for facilitators to present during workshops at set dates. Workshops aim to inform and guide students about preparing for college, deepen relationships between students and Core Facilitators, and engage students on a deeper level around the college admissions process. Facilitators will work with their program manager to prepare for and deliver ~monthly Zoom workshops around the college readiness process.  Virtual Access Core Facilitators jump into action when a student shares a challenge, to build relationships, provide individualized support, and troubleshoot the issue.

This role is an exciting opportunity to have a large-scale impact on the students we serve by introducing them to the college readiness process and supporting them through scheduled meetings/office hours by answering their questions, providing encouragement and resources to support their college goals.

Virtual Access Core Facilitators report to a Let’s Get Ready Program Manager who provides guidance and support through weekly supervision meetings.
