The Solution Architect/ Senior Lead Engineer will design and implement comprehensive technical solutions that align with business goals and meet client requirements. In this role, you will lead the architectural design of complex systems, provide technical leadership, and guide engineering teams in the development and implementation of innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, cloud technologies, and software engineering. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives, and play a key role in guiding the technical direction of projects. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.


 Job Responsibilities: 


 Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions that align with business goals and client requirements.
  • Develop system architectures for large-scale applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Lead the design and architecture of complex systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Identify appropriate technologies to address business challenges, balancing cost, performance, and flexibility.

 Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams during the development of products and solutions.
  • Act as a key decision-maker for complex technical challenges, offering innovative solutions to problems.
  • Conduct technical reviews, including code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to architecture guidelines and quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and high-quality technical output within engineering teams.

 Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and other departments, facilitating communication and cross-functional collaboration.

 Project Management and Execution:

  • Oversee and manage the execution of large-scale engineering and architecture projects from concept through to completion.
  • Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, resolve technical roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet both technical and business requirements.

 Technology Evaluation and Innovation:

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their applicability and potential benefit to the organization.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to assess the suitability of new technologies.
  • Continuously research and apply new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve system performance, efficiency, and scalability.

 Risk Management and Problem Solving:

  • Identify potential risks, technical limitations, and challenges in projects, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address technical issues and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Ensure that all systems and solutions are optimized for future adaptability and meet compliance and security standards.

 Team Development and Mentorship:

  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical coaching, and foster an environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and offer feedback to help team members grow in their roles.
  • Lead technical discussions and help drive innovation within the team.

 Governance, Compliance, and Best Practices:

  • Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and architectural governance to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and improve quality assurance processes, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

 Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flows, and deployment plans.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, technical risks, and key architectural decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure clear communication across technical and non-technical teams to align on project goals and outcomes.

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 

 

Experience:  

  • 10 years of experience

 

 Certifications: 

  • CISSP
