We specialize in a diverse range of functions to provide robust campaigns, advertising, communications, training, investment & educational material, and events, all supported by global centers of excellence spanning content strategy, research & analytics, and digital platforms & experiences. 

 

The Retirement Marketing team is at the center of BlackRock’s efforts to address America’s retirement crisis. We deliver thought leadership and targeted campaigns to support the US Retirement business’ commercial objectives and to amplify the firm’s brand in retirement. We aim to be the industry’s voice on retirement. We’re a tight-knit group that is deeply committed to developing our talent. 

 

Your role and impact: 

The Retirement Marketing Analyst will be a critical member of the Retirement Marketing Group, assisting with campaign planning, creation/deployment, and performance. Examples include: 

  • Partner on campaign strategy and planning; maintaining project plans 

  • Support campaign execution across web, email, organic, and paid media 

  • Oversee content hygiene, working with content creators, to maintain compliance 

  • Analyze marketing campaign metrics to generate performance reports and insights, providing regular updates to key stakeholders on retirement marketing efforts 

This high-performing Analyst will collaborate closely within the Retirement Group and with partners across BlackRock to support a modern marketing approach for distribution with institutions, advisors and end investors. 

The ideal candidate will be: 

  • A pro project manager able to juggle multiple things at once and keep others organized 

  • Solutions-oriented: adaptable and imaginative when it comes to solving problems or bringing innovative new ideas to the table 

  • Collaborative:  a partner who can effectively project manage across multiple departments 

  • Forward-thinking:  always looking to learn about the next new thing, and willing to roll up your sleeves and dive in to experiment with innovative new ideas. 

Key criteria: 

  • 1+ years of experience in integrated / campaign marketing with a focus on financial services or retirement industry preferred. 

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making. 

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and content management systems (e.g. Adobe, JIRA, Airtable, etc.) nice to have 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $95,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
