Job description

Hi, I'm Ashley, VP of Product Marketing at Fellow đź‘‹. I'm looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join the team in our mission to make work better.

You'll be part of a cross-functional team of talented and enthusiastic marketers who are passionate about our product, our customers, and creating quality work.

We're hiring remotely, but have offices and co-working spaces available throughout Canada in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto where you can pop in to work with other team members if you want some in-person time!

What is Fellow?

Fellow is a B2B SaaS solution with a mission of solving the meeting problem with AI, behavior-driving features, automation, and native integrations with over 50 apps and tools. Our product is the #1 meeting management software on G2, and is trusted by the world’s best teams (Shopify, Hubspot, Lemonade).

Established in 2017, our team works remotely from cities across Canada, guided by our mission: Make Work Better for Everyone—and that includes our own employees!

Our values make sure we’re always evolving and growing, like our product. All employees are given regular feedback on their impact on the company’s growth, time to socialize and connect with their team members, and flexibility in their work to empower them to be their best.

We’re an ambitious team building the next big thing and we'd love to have you on this journey with us.

The opportunity

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will focus on building and optimizing the customer journey through e-mail marketing programs and in-app communications. You’ll be responsible for gathering insights and developing strategies, structures, and messaging that increase free-to-paid conversions, product activation, and feature adoption.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  •  A strategic thinker with hands-on skills, who knows how to build and execute lifecycle marketing programs that connect to revenue.
  • Able to partner, build relationships (internally and externally), and drive results across go-to-market functions and at all levels of an organization.
  • A strong communicator who can connect performance and insights to impactful content and assets.
  • Curious and constantly find yourself digging in to solve problems and uncover insights
  • Customer obsessed. You understand the value of customer feedback, sales calls, and a well-thought-out buyer and user journey

What you’ll do:

  • Own and optimize email marketing programs & campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle. You’ll build out comprehensive email marketing strategies to activate, engage, and convert users.
  • Build, implement, and optimize an in-app communication strategy that supports the customer journey from trial through sales/renewal and compliments product functionality and goals.
  • Continuously test, report on, and iterate automated email and in-app programs across every stage of the customer journey.
  • Support marketing initiatives to drive prospects and customers to content and events.
  • Build, test, and optimize free trial flows to drive new users to their “aha” moment and ultimately convert to paid Fellow plans.
  • Support sales expansion and upsell efforts with email and in-app campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our customer success team to launch and report on surveys and reports (NPS/CSAT) and report on insights that can be shared across Fellow teams.

You’ll stand out if you:

  • - Have 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing and/or product marketing.
  • - Have experience with marketing automation tools like Hubspot and Intercom
  • - Are data-driven and comfortable with experiments and reporting on results and insights.
  • - Understand how to use persona and ICP data to craft messaging that not only provides value but encourages action
  • - Have demonstrated success in exceeding ambitious goals and scaling product marketing through high-growth
  •  - Have a first principles mentality and an obsession with continuous improvement

Benefits

  •     Personal and dependent health and dental benefits plan
  •     Employee stock options
  •     $1,000 personal learning credit per year
  •     Regular compensation evaluations and adjustments

The Fine Print

  • Fellow has broad ambitions. We’re very agile and a place where changes happen fast and all the time. You have to enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and growing in your role, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • Our environment is suited for people who thrive in experimenting and figuring out the best way to do their work, and sharing those successes with others.
  • You’ll have the autonomy to schedule your work to fit your schedule, but generally, everyone at Fellow has meeting availability between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
  • We’re 100% remote and candidates should be located in Canada and be legally entitled to work for any employer.
