We are looking for a Summer 2025 Intern for our Enterprise Risk Management group. This role will require some in-office responsibilities. Candidate must be located in the Sun Prairie, WI to be able to go in the office.

The Opportunity

We are interested in college students looking to develop functional insurance industry knowledge and skills related to enterprise risk management and compliance principles, operations, and concepts. You will develop procedural knowledge of risk and related compliance processes within an insurance organization, work with all levels of the organization to get used to an office environment, and develop interpersonal skills needed to succeed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build foundational knowledge of how risk management is conducted within an insurance enterprise 

  • Gain experience and work directly with Risk partners to review live risk and control assessments, effectively utilizing the GRC application to complete the reviews. 

  • Make key contributions to management risk reporting, assisting in the development and reporting of risk trend documentation.

  • Participate in regular management meetings 

  • Clearly demonstrate and communicate an understanding of the ERM Framework. 

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of High School Diploma/GED 

  • Full-time current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree.  Working toward a degree in Risk Management is preferred. 

  • Must be returning to college/university upon completion of internship 

  • Course work or relevant experience with demonstrated achievements 

  • Ability to work from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025

Compensation

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs. 

Hourly Salary Range: $18.00 - $27.50 ; Dependent upon year in school
