We are currently seeking a Remote/Hybrid Associate Electrical Engineer, who will work in-office two days a week and remotely for the remainder of the week. The position is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle, depending on the candidate’s location. Prior experience in electrical engineering in California is required.

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in building services systems while contributing to a diverse range of innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and fellow engineering professionals to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Producing detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, and comprehensive reports across various electrical projects.
  • Organizing technical and financial proposals for prospective work and managing the workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
  • Mentoring junior Electrical Engineers, fostering the growth of next-generation talent in the engineering domain.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations, while continuously monitoring project financial performance.
  • Planning and managing your workload to meet project deadlines effectively.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design within the building services and construction sector.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with various computational analysis tools, including electrical fault analysis and lighting design software.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding client-facing communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in presenting solutions to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is desirable, along with LEED AP accreditation being preferred.
