Job description

BenchSci is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Talent Operations Analyst - Total Rewards to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring our compensation benefits, leaves, and mobility programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives. You will be responsible for conducting market analysis, evaluating jobs, administering benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

You Will:
  • Immigration & Compliance: Support the I-9 verification process and work permit management for international employees.
  • Benefits Administration: Partner with Payroll to analyze and manage monthly benefits deductions reports across Canada, the US, and the UK.
  • Retirement Administration: Support with ongoing retirement program administration including contribution uploads, quarterly plan audits and annual plan reviews.
  • Project Management: Assist with the implementation of new HR projects, ensuring smooth rollouts and effective communication.
  • Employee Communication & Resources: Support with creating and distributing internal communications for employees, and curate resources related to policies and benefits.
  • Benefits & Equity Audits: Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in both our benefits program and equity offerings.
  • Performance Management: Serve as the first peer reviewer for promotion letters, verifying accuracy and alignment with company guidelines.
  • Benefits Renewal: Assist with the smooth execution of annual benefits renewal processes across all regions.
  • Vendor Management: Support with ongoing vendor management for benefits and retirement external vendors. Act as backup to Talent Operations Coordinators 

  • You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and interpret data trends.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Superior organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience working with HR information systems (HRIS) like Dayforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with I-9 verification and work permit management.
  • Understanding of US, Canada, and UK employment law and benefits regulations.
