Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft thorough Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for multi-vendor awards, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Develop proposals that succinctly define the scope of work and showcase how our solutions effectively address client needs.
  • Customize RFP templates to align with the specific requirements of each project.
  • Organize and manage tasks, timelines, and contributors to guarantee timely and efficient proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate with executive sponsors to articulate a cohesive and strategic vision for each proposal, independently drafting the majority of materials while integrating feedback.
  • Review and meticulously copy-edit RFP content to ensure clarity and adherence to client guidelines.
  • Submit insightful queries to RFP procurement officers to clarify requirements and resolve uncertainties.
  • Ensure that all content adheres to RFP specifications, minimizing the risk of disqualification.
  • Compile and submit all components of the RFP, ensuring proper formatting and compliance with submission standards.
  • Assist with additional writing and proposal-related tasks as needed to further organizational objectives.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, adept at juggling multiple RFPs simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and building rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Experience with state or federal procurement processes and multi-vendor RFPs is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content writing, RFP writing, or proposal coordination.
  • Proven interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across various teams.
