Senior Frontend Developer

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company, a rapidly expanding online ticketing platform based in Canada, that is entering the US market. They are looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React to help shape the user experience as they scale. This role is a key contributor to building user-friendly and highly responsive web applications that are critical to the company’s growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new frontend features using React while ensuring high-quality code and performance.
  
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, scalable code.
  
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality across the platform.
  
• Optimize the platform for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while ensuring best practices are followed.
  
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the frontend team.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the product.
  
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes as needed.
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript in a production environment.
  
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development practices, including responsive design, component architecture, and state management.
  
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality code.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team and collaborate across departments.
  
• Previous experience with ticketing platforms, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  
• A passion for creating user-centric, accessible, and inclusive web applications.
