Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist for our Adult Department to provide remote therapy services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering mental health support and enhancing the well-being of our clients. Your clinical expertise will be utilized in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions, all while working collaboratively with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual diagnostic assessments to identify clients’ strengths, needs, resources, and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline presenting issues, objectives, interventions, and desired outcomes.
  • Perform eligibility assessments for state-funded services.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, both in-office and through telehealth.
  • Implement crisis management strategies to ensure client safety during acute symptom exacerbations.
  • Collaborate closely with treatment team members, natural supports, and external providers to create an integrated approach to client care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all services provided.
  • Commit to a designated number of billable service hours weekly, with opportunities for incentive pay based on productivity.
  • Participate in relevant consultation meetings and committees as directed.
  • Uphold professional integrity, confidentiality, and the rights of all clients in all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and federal/state regulations.
  • Maintain necessary professional memberships, licenses, and certifications.
  • Represent the organization professionally in all settings.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in a mental health field (e.g., social work, clinical mental health counseling) is required.
  • Preferred licensure: LCMHC or LICSW.
  • Experience with co-occurring disorders is preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and adeptness at multitasking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team while being self-directed and motivated.
  • Willingness to acquire and practice new clinical skills as agency needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Preferred licensure includes LCMHC or LICSW.
  • Previous experience in mental health settings is strongly desired, particularly with co-occurring disorders.
