As we expand, we are looking for a passionate and experienced DevOps Consultant to join our remote team. This position is well-suited for individuals with strong communication abilities, a results-driven mindset, and a flair for teaching and presentation. You will collaborate with a talented team to develop innovative software solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive client engagements, identifying opportunities and delivering cutting-edge solutions in line with industry best practices.
  • Analyze client requirements and execute strategic DevOps solutions, ensuring technology decisions support business goals.
  • Assist clients in navigating cloud adoption and advanced technological strategies to foster IT transformation.
  • Work alongside client development teams, maintaining transparency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Create innovative solutions, architecture designs, and proofs of concept to showcase the value of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to guarantee project delivery aligns with established timelines, budgets, and scopes.
  • Contribute to marketing and partner initiatives by creating content such as sales materials, blog posts, and workshops.
  • Mentor junior team members, facilitating their professional development and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends by maintaining relevant certifications and participating in technology events.

Required Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Experience in designing and managing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Enterprise or Anthos Clusters.
  • Strong understanding of container and Kubernetes security hardening practices.
  • Expertise in implementing HashiCorp Vault Enterprise for secure secrets management, access control, and encryption in complex systems.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in coding and scripting with languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, EKS, OCP, GKE, and AKS.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), automation, and configuration management tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Hands-on experience with secrets management tools like KMS, HSMs, and HashiCorp Vault Enterprise.
  • Proven expertise in source control management (SCM) tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Familiarity with API management platforms like Apigee-X, Postman, and AWS API Gateway.
  • A solid background in technical infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise), encompassing systems design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Software Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other DevOps roles with a successful project delivery track record.
