Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Project/Process Consultant to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role is designed for an individual with an extensive background in spearheading substantial operational transformation projects. The successful candidate will bring over 15 years of professional experience, including a substantial tenure of 7-10 years within the FMCG, Food, or Chemical sectors prior to their consulting career. Your expertise will allow you to drive strategic initiatives while engaging in hands-on analytical work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead intricate, cross-functional projects, ensuring the seamless execution and successful realization of objectives.
  • Redefine and enhance operational processes, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency by collaborating closely with regulatory, safety, and quality teams.
  • Collect and analyze data utilizing tools such as Excel to support informed decision-making and identify actionable enhancements for process optimization.
  • Collaborate effectively across diverse departments, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, product safety, and quality, to integrate and align new processes.
  • Recognize potential risks associated with operational modifications, particularly concerning safety, quality, and compliance, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for global leadership teams, offering insights on project advancements, outcomes, and recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar frameworks, with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process modeling tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while effectively leading and coordinating diverse project teams.
  • Familiarity with the innovation lifecycle and PLM systems is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of experience leading operational change initiatives.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years in industry experience specifically in the FMCG, Food, or Chemical sectors before transitioning into consulting.
  • Proven experience collaborating with regulatory, product safety (toxicology), and quality teams.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or a similar methodology is essential.
  • Experience in managing global operations and cross-functional teams.
