Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Implementation Specialist to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional implementation services for our innovative public safety software solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients experience seamless product implementations, enhancing their operational efficiency and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training and support throughout the implementation process to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Analyze and adapt business processes and laboratory workflows to meet specific implementation requirements.
  • Assess training needs based on new product features and provide tailored training solutions for system administrators and end users.
  • Collaborate with clients to redesign their work processes, leveraging our software features to streamline operations and reduce backlogs.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects within budget constraints.
  • Partner with the database administrator on data conversions and migrations, offering guidance on field mapping and data management.
  • Document and communicate any bugs, enhancement requests, and reporting requirements identified by clients.
  • Participate in end-of-implementation reviews to gauge client satisfaction and areas for improvement.
  • Represent our organization positively in all customer interactions, providing insights on best practices for integrating our software solutions.
  • Engage in exploratory and user acceptance testing as necessary for product releases, ensuring quality assurance.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with ANAB, ISO 9001, or other relevant Quality Systems Requirements standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Crystal Reports and/or SQL.
  • Basic project management capabilities and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting software issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years' experience in forensic science or information technology, including at least two years in a customer service role.
  • Experience in providing professional training or leading instructor-led sessions is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in forensic science, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) products is an advantage.
