Job Overview

We invite you to join our esteemed Mental Health team as we broaden our services aimed at supporting children and families in need. We are in search of dedicated Licensed Therapists who are committed to positively influencing the lives of youth. As a pivotal member of our Pediatric Mental Health team (Remote), you will have the chance to foster essential relationships with school personnel, families, and various stakeholders, all while striving to enhance access to mental health care for students across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to a designated caseload of K-12 students.
  • Conduct initial mental health intake assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ distinct needs.
  • Perform clinical screenings and ongoing evaluations to monitor student progress effectively.
  • Collaborate with the care management team to ensure seamless transitions into services and identify further external support resources.
  • Participate actively in our clinical team through training, meetings, and collaborative activities.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Meet minimum required weekly availability and productivity levels as defined by Clinical Leadership.
  • Provide telehealth crisis support for school partners or students as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Licensed without restrictions as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Proficient knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices, treatment strategies, and interventions pertinent to children's mental health needs.
  • Telehealth experience is favored.
  • Strong technological aptitude, with the ability to learn new software and manage digital documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage and prioritize essential tasks.
  • Proactive verbal and written communication skills across various platforms.
  • Bilingual capabilities are highly valued (Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Korean, and Tagalog).

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed in California and the state in which you reside, with the ability to secure additional licenses as required.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school-based setting or working with school-aged children.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check upon hire.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is \(76,500 - \)85,500 for full-time, 10-month employment. We offer an exceptional benefits package, including:
