Mission

Grow the business through the acquisition of new allies for the SMBs segment through acquiring small and medium merchants that accept Addi as a payment method, working directly in the field to identify, contact, secure new allies implementing actions based on analytical insights.

What you will do

  • Prospecting and Merchant Acquisition:

    • Conduct field sweeps to identify, contact and sign potential merchant partners per city.

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with store owners and managers.

  • Commercial Area Analysis:

    • Analyze and understand key commercial zones to identify business opportunities.

    • Execute strategies to maximize Addi's presence in these areas.

  • B2B and B2C Sales:

    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing TyC.

    • Adapt sales strategies according to the type of merchant and customer.

  • Relationship Building and Networking:

    • Build and maintain a robust network of contacts in the commercial sector.

    • Conduct cold calls/visits and participate in relevant events to expand the field expansion

  • Follow-up and Reporting:

    • Continuously follow up with prospective and allied merchants.

    • Prepare progress and results reports for senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in startups or tech companies, knowledge about KPIs and goal oriented.

  • Familiarity with key commercial and business zones in Bogota or around the country.

  • Experience in B2B and B2C sales, with a proven track record of successful customer acquisition.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships.

  • Ability to make cold contacts and generate new business opportunities, pitch development.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and follow up with potential clients and partners.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields (preferred, but not required).

How the hiring process looks like

  • Meet with our recruiter for a 30-minute video chat. We will get to know you better, understand what you’re looking for, and answer any questions you might have about ADDI.

  • Meet with the hiring manager for a 45-minute video chat interview. Here, we will ask you questions about your sales background and dive deeper into your experience and skills. You will be able to ask any questions about the culture and how we work at ADDI.

  • Meet with our SMBs Growth Manager for a 30-minute chat to talk about your skills, interest and deep dive in your SMBs knowledge and cultural alignment

  • Complete a Field Sales Exercise. With this technical challenge, we want to see your sales skills and expertise facing a real-situation. We expect that you invest 1 hour on it with our team.

  • Meet with one of our founders for a 30-minute chat to talk about the vision of the company, what we are building and how you will contribute to our product.
