We are seeking a Solutions Engineer (F/H) to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based out of France.   

Job Summary 
 

The Solutions Engineer (SE) is part of the Imprivata Solutions Engineering organisation and operates as a highly skilled technical resource who is involved in all aspects of the sales cycle. This position is assigned a territory and works directly with Imprivata’s Regional Sales Managers and Channel Partners to understand prospective and existing clients’ technical and end user workflow requirements for new and add-on sales opportunities. The SE demonstrates the appropriate Imprivata solution features and workflows in the form of customised presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof of concept (POC) evaluations. The SE also educates clients on Imprivata’s services offerings and develops statements of work (SoWs) for professional services engagements. This position works remotely and is expected to travel throughout their assigned region to provide the necessary technology sales support to close new opportunities in an efficient and effective manner.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including:  
    • Understand key technical and end user workflow requirements.  
    • Develop and present appropriate solutions based on Imprivata’s solutions and services.  
    • Develop solution proposals and key success criteria for evaluations.  
    • Lead technical demonstrations and evaluations.  
    • Develop estimates, proposals and statements of work for professional services engagements.  
  • In collaboration with the Imprivata Regional Sales Managers, achieve strategic company objectives and territory revenue goals.  
  • Provide key enablement services to channel partners and assist them in selling and supporting Imprivata’s solutions and services.  
  • Provide trade show and marketing event solution demonstration support.  
  • Research, compose, and deliver responses to client RFI/RFP’s.  
  • Transition accounts post sale to Imprivata’s professional services team.  
  • Disseminate feedback from client experiences to facilitate solution evolution.  

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or in a related technical discipline.  
  • 5+ year’s relevant sales/pre-sales engineering, consulting or system integration experience in the technology industry.  
  • Expertise in a broad range of applications, ecosystems, and technologies including, but not limited to:  
    • Microsoft Windows operating systems.  
    • LDAP directory technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID.  
    • Application/Desktop virtualisation technologies such as those from Citrix, Microsoft, and Broadcom.  
    • Identity Management and Single Sign-On solutions and related technologies.  
    • User authentication and management technologies.  
    • Enterprise and SaaS-based software security solutions and related technologies  
    • Federated /Web Single Sign-On standards, such as SAML and OpenID Connect.  
    • Privileged Access Management solutions and related technologies.  
  • Experience staging and delivering technical demonstrations and proof of concept evaluations.  
  • Experience selling multiple solutions and supporting multiple sales representatives.  
  • Experience discussing, scoping and estimating professional services engagements.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.  
  • Experience selling to healthcare providers is strongly desired.  
  • Scripting or software development experience is desired, but not required.  
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.  
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
