To expand and manage our customer base in a global market, we are looking for an ambitious and energetic Marketing & Sales Specialist. A high level of self-organization is a requirement, allowing you to invest your time and motivation in our mission optimally.

 

Role

You will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting customer engagement, sales, and forging strong relationships with clients:

  • Contribute to key marketing and sales efforts, including company presentations, technical flyers and marketing activities.
  • Act as a primary point-of-contact for potential customers.
  • Arrange meetings with clients and prospects by a host of methods, from first outreach by phone or email to videoconferences to face-to-face meetings, building business trips and attending international business events.
  • Maintain timely client feedback and engagement, including after-sales support.
  • Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Identify and develop new services and business opportunities through market (trend) research, networking, competitor analysis and industry events.
  • Analysis of marketing and sales data and provide reports and interpretations based on these in a timely manner.
  • Establish a smooth status reporting process, develop our CRM system.
  • Creation, development and maintenance of internal databases.
  • Collaborate with the scientific and sales teams on business development & sales strategies and campaigns
  • Prioritise and manage a multifaceted work stream.
  • Adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Active involvement in the monthly sales meetings.

 

Required skills & experience

  • Master’s Degree in a scientific or related technical field is preferred, with a demonstrated successful career path in Business Development, Marketing or Sales.
  • A well-rounded biopharmaceutical business development or marketing career with minimum combined experience of 3 years.
  • Proven experience in market analysis, and managing business growth.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot, or equivalent) and associated database management and analysis tools.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; German is a plus
  • Problem solving, precision, attention to the details, teamwork attitude and overall flexibility to operate in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in remote relationships and across departments to implement business strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of the dynamics of collaborations between (chemical or pharmaceutical) companies and CRO/service providers.
